The ARCSTONE team has developed a spectrometer instrument concept that is simplistic and reliable.
It is anticipated that this ARCSTONE formulation team will be in competition with other mission & instrument
development teams; therefore, we cannot show the ARCSTONE instrument designs on this public web-site.
In 2015, through a competitive process, NASA LaRC selected Resonon to design and build an instrument breadboard.
Assembly and testing will be completed in 2016. This same team is creating mission requirements (levels 1-3),
developing a concept for a flight instrument, and creating a technology development plan that culminates
in ground testing and finally with a full CubeSat mission. Funding sources for technology development
beyond the breadboard are being sought.
